ARTIST WANTED: [RE]visit [RE]seda Blvd Summer Art Series
Posted by Councilmember Englander on April 24, 2016 at 7:45 PM
Last month, we were happy to support Reseda Blvd merchant CJ Berina of Collective Lifestyle in his successful application for the Arts Activation Grant from the Department of Cultural Affairs. CJ has been a huge supporter of the Reseda Blvd Great Street, most recently hosting the competitive Poetry Slam for the I <3 [RE]seda Blvd event. CJ's proposal for the Reseda Blvd Summer Event series successfully impressed the Cultural Affairs Commission, who awarded him $15,000.
The events will take place on the first and third Saturdays of May and June from 5:00 pm to 8:30 pm. Planned activities include interactive experiences, art walk, poetry, dance, music, performing arts and laser light art.
Saturday, May 7, May 21
Saturday, June 4, June 18
5:00 pm to 8:30 pm
Artists interested in participating should contact Shane Ferguson at (818) 378-6810 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
