I wanted to share some exciting house news. My office's very own Field Deputy, Jessie Strobel was recognized this week during the United Chambers of Commerce as a Legislative Deputy of the Year. She was chosen alongside aides from the offices of other elected officials throughout the San Fernando Valley.
Jessie is an incredible worker and invaluable member of the CD 12 family. In addition to serving as a liaison to multiple neighborhood councils, she is my point person for parks and recreational facilities within the district.
Her work speaks for itself, in the last year she's worked to reopen Chatsworth Park South, led the rehabilitation effort for Chatsworth Park North, and finalized plans and a timeline with the Bureau of Engineering for the reconstruction of the Granada Hills pool.
As a former recipient of this award from my own staffing days, I couldn't be prouder of Jessie's accomplishments. I also want to thank the United Chambers of Commerce for taking the time to honor staff for their hard work.
