Council District 12 Speaker Series: A Dialogue on the "Anatomy of Hate" with Holocaust Survivors
Posted by Councilmember Englander on January 27, 2017 at 9:19 AM
Councilmember Mitchell Englander is proud to announce the beginning of the Quarterly CD12 Speaker Series. This Speaker Series will host an insightful dialog on “The Anatomy of Hate” from the perspective of two Holocaust Survivors, Gabriella Karin and Robert Geminder.
For decades, Holocaust survivors have spoken out about their painful experiences during World War II. These survivors have been the most effective ambassadors of memory, hope, and tolerance for our community. Their dedication and courage serve as a testament to the vibrancy and tenacity of Jewish life.
Now, with the youngest survivors in their mid-seventies, this is one of our last chances to listen to the stories of people who experienced this war and carry on the stories of those left behind. Seating is limited and RSVP is required. Light refreshments will be served.
