LADOT Hosts Jacket Drive for the Homeless

Los Angeles Department of Transportation (LADOT) employees are hosting a jacket drive for the homeless. At the beginning of this year, through the generosity of so many, over 850 Jackets were provided to those in need through the “Jackets for the Homeless” drive. Some of the jackets were distributed in the area near the Los Angeles City Hall, and the rest were given to the Los Angeles Mission, Fred Jordan Mission, Salvation Army, Mary's Mercy Center and to Saint Vincent de Paul.
Winter is just around the corner, and LADOT is again asking for your help, to ensure that those less fortunate are provided a warm jacket when the colder weather is upon us. The goal this year is to distribute at least 1000 jackets to the homeless and raise about $7,000.
With your support, the jackets will be distributed at the beginning of the winter season
