The Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP) believes the non-profit community plays a vital role in helping Los Angeles to become the greenest big city in America. Non-profits’ experience, programs, networks, and commitment provide the basis to maximize public engagement and participation in energy efficiency and water conservation programs. These LADWP programs will assist non-profits in building capacity to lead as well as affect positive behavior change in their communities.
LADWP is pleased to open the application period for a round of grants to local non-profit organizations for outreach and education grants to improve energy efficiency and water conservation in Los Angeles communities. All applications must be emailed to nonprofitgrants@ladwp.com by 3:00 p.m. on July 1, 2015.
Through the Community Partnership Outreach Grants program, non-profits are invited to undertake community outreach and education to improve energy efficiency and water conservation throughout the City of Los Angeles. Together, we can empower neighborhoods and businesses to conserve energy and water to save money and protect the environment.
