Guided grocery store tour with AARP Foundation
Grocery shopping on a limited budget can be overwhelming. To help community members make healthy food decisions and stretch your food dollars, AARP Foundation is hosting informative small-group grocery tours. The one-hour tours will teach attendees how to buy healthy food within their budget. During the hour-long tour, the group will learn how to buy fruits and vegetables on a budget, compare unit prices to find bargains, read and compare food labels and identify whole grains. At the end of the tour, participants 50+ will receive a $10 gift card. You do not have to be an AARP member to attend.
