Thousands Gather to Share Impacts of Gas Leak on Families

This week, I attended several community meetings where residents shared their concerns and their personal stories about how this leak is affecting their families.
As your representative and as a resident whose family has also been greatly affected by this crisis, you have my commitment that I will continue to work tirelessly until the leak is stopped and every resident is able to safely return to their home.
To report a smell or potential gas leak, call the SoCal Gas Company at (800) 427-2200 and call the Air Quality Management District (AQMD) at (800) 288-7664 or go online:http://www.aqmd.gov/contact/complaints.
For residents who wish to relocate, the SoCal Gas Company is providing free, temporary housing accommodations, including locations that can accommodate residents with disabilities and people with access and functional needs. For residents with pets, the SoCal Gas Company has arranged pet-friendly locations. To receive temporary housing accommodations, call 404-497-6808.
