This week, the last of eleven West Hills community medallions were installed much to the delight of not only the architects of the project, the West Hills Neighborhood Council (WHNC) and their passionate membership, but also the residents of the West Valley community.

More than just boundary markers around the community, these colorful symbolic sign depict life in the West San Fernando Valley. On each medallion is a picture of Castle Peak in the center, eucalyptus leaves representative of the historic Shadow Ranch, oranges representative of Orcutt Ranch, and an adobe structure representative of the Lederer Estate, currently known as hidden chateau.
Thank you to the WHNC founding president, Chuck Gremer, who launched the project and all the supporters in the West Hills community.
