The work of the Council District 12 staff is only a part of what makes for great constituent service. Just as important are the relationships my staff builds with key individuals in various departments throughout the city in order to deliver prompt reliable service.
In an effort to acknowledge these city workers, my staff likes to highlight the individuals who go above and beyond to protect and enhance the quality of life of our constituents. This week, my office recognized Kenneth Lampton, the Bureau of Sanitation's Supervisor for Solid Resource Collection in the West Valley.
Kenneth, or Kenny as he is known to friends and community members, is one of the hardest working and most responsive employees in the City family. When there is an issue, Kenny solves it. If he can't spare resources in the moment, he will often take it into his own hands to resolve an issue for constituents.
There are too many examples to list all the times when Kenny and his team has gone out of their way to make sure difficult issues are resolved. Needless to say, when all of his contributions to our district are added up, there are few people who have contributed as much to the health and livability of our district as Kenny Lampton.
